Cool Gold Dye Fomula

I have seen a couple of gold dye formulas.
One is green and orange the other is silver and yellow.

I bought stonefist gauntlets, which have a gold color. I tried both dye mixes and neither had the same color or looked like the Stonefist gauntlets gold color. Green and Orange were closer and just needed to be lightened up. After spending several Platinum bars I have come up with

Orange, Green Silver, Silver. I looked very closely at the color and compared it to the Stonefist Gauntlets. There is a very, very slight shade difference almost undetectable otherwise it looks like the real gold. Although expensive because of the silver dyes it doesn't look like a cheap gold mix.

Uh.. if they're gold to start with (and they are) then why dye them gold?

The best gold dye combo I've found so far is orange + yellow + green (for 15k glads).

Looks more orange/rust than gold, to me.

Looks deep gold on my Sony flatpanel LCD. What display type are you using?

Don't think he was dying them, just comparing the gold-ness

(blue+dye remover)+(yellow+dye remover) is another good combination.

Every armor looks different under dye anyways, why does it matter?
